The robust construction of Winchester teak benches enables them to stand the test of time making them ideal for memorial purposes. Sanded finish highlights beautiful grain and colour of the finest quality teak used for the Winchester memorial bench.
We do not allow for lamination and finger joints, which many other suppliers do to reduce the cost of timber.

The traditional design features smoothly contoured arms, curved front legs, straight back, wide straight back top rail and shaped seat for extra comfort.
This heavy duty and strong teak bench with 7x7cm leg profile and weight of 40kg is perfect for public and private situations.

The bench is made of FSC certified teak (from a responsibly managed forest).
The bench has extra strong traditional mortise and tenon joints.

We have designed the Winchester bench with our CNC engraving in mind. This bench can be engraved in 2 places: the bench back (top rail) and the bench seat (front rail).
The rails are wide enough for 2 lines of engraving to the back top rail and seat front rail. Our engraving is V carve engraving typically 0.3 inch deep, depending on the font type and size.

Available in 1.8m.

The bench is assembled by us at your site or beforehand. The joints are mortise and tenon type, the assembly process involves driving in wooden dowels into the predrilled holes in the tenon and the mortise joint. No glue is necessary as our joints are made with precision in the factory so that when the dowel is inserted the joint is pulled tight together. Some cheaper suppliers make a big deal about the glue they use, believe me if a main joint relies on glue to be tight then you will end up with a wobbly bench over time.

This bench can also accommodate 2 lines of text, 65 characters per line, on the bench seat front rail.

Material

Teak originates from the monsoon forests in the region of Laos, Myanmar (former Burma) and Thailand.

This bench is also made in Thailand reducing the wood miles in the final product.
