Introducing our Teak Lutyens Bench - a timeless garden classic inspired by renowned English architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. Crafted from the finest teak, this bench is not only durable but also ages beautifully. Unlike cheaper alternatives, our benches feature machined mortise and tenon joints, ensuring sturdy construction. They are delivered flat pack and boxed for perfect condition and can even be engraved. With its British design, this bench is perfect for your garden. Please note that it is not recommended for public spaces. Our team can assemble the bench on-site or in advance, using precision-made mortise and tenon joints. No glue is needed for a secure fit. We believe that relying on glue for stability may result in a shaky bench over time. Rest assured, all our benches are delivered fully assembled for your convenience.

Our teak is sourced from FSC certified forests in Northern Thailand and transformed into benches in a factory near Bangkok. The wood comes from the monsoon forests in Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand. To learn more about our wood sourcing, please visit our website.

If you wish to add a personalized touch to your bench, we offer engraving services for an additional charge. Choose from computer-controlled engraving directly into the wood, a brass plaque, or a laminate plaque. The maximum number of characters for engraving is 32 on the top curved rail and 70 characters (including spaces) on the seat front top and/or bottom rail. For installation, we offer the choice of either anchoring your bench to a concrete base that you have prepared or using our specialized anchoring systems in soft ground. Please note that this option is only available for mainland England and Wales with our standard delivery service.

Engraving

Engraving is charged extra.. You have a choice of a computer controlled engraving direct into the wood of the bench, a brass plaque or laminate plaque.
The maximum number of carved letters for this bench is 25 on the top curved rail and 55 characters (including spaces) on the seat front top rail and or bottom rail.
